RECYCLED MOBILES MAKE MONEY
Recycle your old mobile phone into funds for developing countries. Most of the UK's estimated 60 million redundant mobiles are lying idle around people's homes because there's no easy way to dispose of them. Containing magnesium, nickel and cadmium they could be harmful if they end up in landfills.
But send your old phone to the freepost address below and Christian Aid will receive £3.50 for each one through a deal with the recycling company XS Tronix.
Send them to:
Christian Aid Appeal, XS Tronix, Freepost LON17592, PO BOX 32343, London, SW17 9ZZ
Alternatively organise a collection in your church, gym, college or work place. Collect 50 phones or more and we will organise a courier to pick them up - free of charge. To order your courier, call Becky Smyth on 020 8274 4040.
